The Extempore Crisis Committee (ECC) provides a unique experience for delegates seeking a new daunting challenge. Designed for delegates who thrive under pressure, this committee explores a wide range of dynamic and unconventional scenarios. No theme is too ambitious, and no crisis is too predictable.

A background guide outlining the topic and character assignments will be emailed to delegates prior to the Opening Ceremonies. As a result, participants cannot prepare traditional research in advance and must instead depend on quick thinking and adapt to rapidly evolving situations.

As a Crisis Committee, ECC is an advanced-level committee recommended for competitive delegates who seek a challenge, enjoy a fast-paced committee, and are comfortable operating within Crisis Rules of Procedure. Due to its unique structure, delegates are not required to submit position papers and will all be automatically considered for awards.
