Anna Zhou

Anna is delighted, marginally sleep-deprived, and ecstatic to be serving as Crisis Staff for the Joint Crisis Committee at RichMUN XI. Currently a Grade 10 student at Sentinel Secondary School, she began her Model UN journey back in Grade 8, joining out of curiosity and slowly becoming captivated by the sheer unpredictability of crisis committees. What she initially expected to be a traditional, formal debate turned out to be controlled chaos – and she has enjoyed it ever since. She is also known to consume a suspiciously high amount of coffee during conferences – usually in an attempt to keep up with the chaos of crisis and late-night speech writing. Outside of MUN, Anna can usually be found on the hunt for good restaurants, watching cooking shows, or curled up with a good book. She looks forward to a memorable weekend at RichMUNXI and is excited to see what the delegates bring to JCC.
